The Blueprint Foundation is thrilled to announce our new Executive Director: Diana Greenfield!

Diana is a nonprofit leader, community builder, problem solver, and firm believer that doing serious work doesn’t mean we have to take ourselves seriously all the time.

Before Blueprint, she co-founded and led Young Voices of Austin, a nonprofit built around young people, families, leadership, arts, and community. Her career has taken her from nonprofits to business and back again, with plenty of fundraising, board service, program building, big ideas, and figuring-things-out along the way.

Diana recently earned her Master of Arts from The New School for Social Research in New York City. Her graduate research explored gender, social justice, mindfulness, and access to urban nature. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

She believes deeply in joy, kindness, curiosity, and community, and is genuinely thrilled to join Blueprint and get to know the people who make it such a special place.

🌱 Program News 🌱

From camping trips and canoe paddles to land tending and invasive species removal, Grounding Waters is out enjoying every ounce of summer. The program is also happy to welcome our newest Program Assistant, Jasmine Devora, to the team!

CAP Summer Camp is in full swing. Activities like wastewater treatment learning, GIS mapping, a tour of Onsemi, wildlife camera review, stewardship projects, plant identification, and a career day offered a wide range of meaningful environmental education and personal growth.

This past month, Connecting Canopies wrapped up a season of stewardship and planning activities, including finalizing a full backyard transformation project in Vancouver, tree pruning with Friends of Trees, and removing invasive plants at Tideman Johnson Park and Whitaker Ponds. Along the way, Cohort 5 continued building teamwork, environmental stewardship skills, and hands-on project experience.

Leach Botanical Garden is hiring a part-time Executive Director who will build on that support by strengthening philanthropy, cultivating community partnerships, and providing the leadership needed to guide the Garden’s future.

Salary Range: $45,000 to $52,000
